We offer many types of sea salt, including seasoned salts made especially for spaghetti, meat, fish and greens and gourmet salt (ingredients are sun, sea and wind). The gourmet salt we call, "Soffi di Sale" whiff of salt, is a salt with a uniqueness unbeknownst to the North American market. It is of an almost flaky texture and humid to the touch. This is our pride and joy. This particulra sea salt is actually hand picked from the top of the sea while the wind is at zero miles per hours and calm, which is usually a rare event. We also offer crystal salt for grinders and a finer salt called Riserva. The salt is harvested from the Mediterranean and immediately put into jars at the plant located minutes away from the salt pans. From there they are boxed and shipped to our warehouse or directly to our buyer. As you can see, there is no middle process. The work is completed entirely in Sicily directly from the salt pans to the United States.
We also offer a mouth watering truffle sea salt as well as an orange and lemon sea salt. The truffle, orange and lemon is picked from the beautiful country side in the Abruzzi region of Italy and united with our sea salt in an Artisan format. Soon, we will have other types of sea salt which will cater to every necessity, including boiling water for pasta. The latter will be in a tablet format measured perfectly for a pot of boiling water. We will also carry Capers, Olive and
Smoked Sea Salt.
